Nicholas and Company Inc., a leading food service distributor in the Intermountain West, has won the prestigious 2012 Best of State Award for the Food Service & Distributors in Business Services category in Utah.

Utah's Best of State Award recognizes individuals, businesses and other organizations that have measured up to the Best of State Motto, “Excelling and Surpassing All Else.” A panel of expert judges from across the state select winners by scoring nominees out of a total 100 possible points. Fifty percent of the score is based on overall quality of the company's offering or program, 30 percent is based on innovation and 20 percent for the company's contribution to the quality of life in Utah.
